Good morning! It's January 1st! Happy New Year to everybody! What are your resolutions?
We'll be working on a "mind map" today and thinking of new goals and things we can do differently this 2016. Thank you so much for a great 2015! 2015 was the year that we launched our Vegan jewelry collection and worked with different nonprofits to help (even just a little) animals in need. Animal welfare is one of the things that we are passionate about, and we look forward to creating more pieces that inspire & bring awareness to more people.
Our advice to everyone who is looking to be healthier / feel better / have a lifestyle or a diet change this year is to try eating plant based or going "Vegan"! As long as you consider the nutritional info of what you're eating, yes, you can have enough protein from plant based sources. You can make this change at your own pace, like for example switching to one veggie meal a day until you get used to it or get new recipes to "veganize" your favorite foods.
We also encourage you to look into non-fur or non-leather items when purchasing new goods (such as coats and boots, this winter season), and to use products that have not been tested on animals.
We all have the power to create a demand for products that don't use animals or animal byproducts, we just have to be conscious about our choices and consider the impact of the products we purchase on other living beings and on the environment.
